Our RYA shorebased courses are designed to complement the RYA practical schemes. Taking a one-day course will enable you to extend your knowledge and skills in a specialist area and some courses, such as the Short Range Certificate, are a prerequisite for higher qualifications such as the RYA Yachtmaster® Certificate of Competence. Our longer courses (40hrs) typically run over a six week period (two evenings per week) or four or five days of intensive tuition.

In order to work in the super yacht industry all crew are required to hold STCW 2010 (Standards for Certification and Watchkeeping) MCA approved qualifications, which were developed by the International Maritime Organisation to provide a consistent standard of training for all seafarers.
